UEFA Nations League Winners List
Portugal are current UEFA Nations League champions having beating Spain in the 24/25 season final. The game ended 2-2 in extra time before Portugal triumphed 5-3 on penalties.
This is Portugal’s second Nations League title, having lifted the trophy in the inaugural edition in 2019. This is the second time Spain have ended up runners’ up (previously in 20/21), when they lost to France in the final. It’s also the third consecutive finals Spain have reached, highlighting their dominance of European football to along with their Euro 2024 title.
The Nations League is a competition played between all 55 member nations of UEFA, formed to replace international friendlies with competitive fixtures to add more value to the international calendar between European Championships and World Cups.
