Widely recognised as the most exciting domestic competition in the world, the Premier League has witnessed plenty of high-scoring games.

Highest scoring EPL games

The record score for the biggest win is 9-0, which has happened on four occasions – Manchester United (two), Leicester City and Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur are the only other team to have scored nine times in a match in their 9–1 home victory over Wigan Athletic in 2009.

This game holds the record for the total number of goals scored in one half of Premier League football (nine), and by one team in one half (eight).
