AC Milan wonderkid Alphadjo Cisse makes headlines against Juventus

AC Milan held Juventus to a 1-1 draw in Serie A at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

Alphadjo Cisse shone again for Milan, scoring the opening goal in the 68th minute. He slotted a right-footed shot through Pierre Kalulu’s legs and into the bottom corner.

The Italian youth international is now the first teenager to score in each of his first two away games for Milan since the 1994/95 season.

Cisse came on as a substitute, replacing Diego Moreira just after the hour mark. It took him only seven minutes to make an impact, scoring his second league goal this season.

Federico Gatti rescued a draw for Juventus in stoppage time, heading the ball powerfully into the net.

Cisse and fellow substitute Samuel Chukwueze made the visitors more dangerous in attack and combined to score their only goal.

The 19-year-old was tidy in possession, completing all four of his passes, two of which were in the opposition half.

He scored with his only shot, completed one of his three dribbles and won one ground duel.

The young attacking midfielder joined Milan in January but spent the rest of the season on loan at Serie B outfit Catanzaro.

Cisse impressed manager Ruben Amorim during pre-season and earned a place in Milan’s first team rather than going out on another loan.

Amorim will be unhappy about leaving Turin without all three points, but he could take solace in another laudable performance from Cisse.
