Juventus make contact with Manchester United over Joshua Zirkzee transfer

Juventus have enquired about the availability of Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee, per La Gazzetta dello Sport

The Serie A giants are looking to sign a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, who left at the end of his contract last month.

Their priority target remains Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani, but the two clubs are currently far apart in their valuation.

Juventus are considering alternatives, and have enquired about Zirkzee’s availability.

The Dutch forward joined United for £36.5 million in 2024 but has failed to meet expectations.

Zirkzee has bagged only nine goals and four assists in 75 appearances across all competitions.

United are prepared to sell the 25-year-old if they receive an offer around £34m.

The Red Devils have been very active in the transfer market

They completed the signings of midfielders Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos last week, while goalkeeper Karl Darlow and Tynan Thompson have also joined.

United are still seeking a third midfielder, while a new left-back is a priority.

Casemiro, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia have left the club on free transfers.

United also wanted to offload Manuel Ugarte, but his long-term injury while playing for Uruguay at the World Cup means a transfer is unlikely now.
