Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has moved to end speculation surrounding the futures of Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde.
Perez insists both midfielders will remain at the Santiago Bernabeu despite reports of a dressing-room rift and growing transfer interest from across Europe.
The pair were at the centre of controversy following reports of a heated altercation that escalated into a physical confrontation during Los Blancos’ disappointing 2025/26 campaign.
Real Madrid ended the season without a major trophy for the second consecutive year, increasing scrutiny on several senior players and raising questions about harmony within the squad.
With rumours continuing to swirl, Perez delivered a clear message as he presented his candidacy for the club presidency.
Asked whether Valverde and Tchouameni would stay at Madrid, the veteran club chief offered a firm response.

His comments will come as a significant boost to Madrid supporters, particularly given the level of interest both players have attracted ahead of the summer transfer window.
Valverde has been linked with ambitious moves from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
Both clubs reportedly view the Uruguayan as one of the most complete midfielders in world football.
Tchouameni has been repeatedly connected with Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool.
Despite the speculation, Madrid appear determined to keep both players as part of their long-term plans under a new era at the club.
Tchouameni has also sought to downplay suggestions of major behind-the-scenes fallout. The France international recently brushed aside talk of a dressing-room crisis.
He hinted that he expects to remain in Madrid next season, stressing his desire to continue competing for the biggest trophies with the Spanish giants.
While Madrid could still be active in the transfer market after a frustrating campaign, Perez’s latest remarks suggest there will be no midfield overhaul.
