Real Madrid and Barcelona plan wonderkid acquisitions for summer rebuild

Barcelona are four points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table with nine games remaining.

Regardless of the outcome of the title race, both clubs will be active in the summer transfer window.

Madrid and Barcelona are planning wonderkid signings this summer

Los Blancos are planning to trigger buy-back clauses for Victor Munoz and Nico Paz.

Munoz has hit the ground running at Osasuna, making 11 direct goal contributions in 31 appearances across all competitions.

Paz has also been earning rave reviews with Como in Serie A, scoring 10 goals in 29 league matches.

The duo will get the opportunity to stake their claim for a permanent spot in the senior team during pre-season.

Barcelona are plotting a summer move for Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Christian Kofane.

The 19-year-old has caught their attention with his exceptional performances in the Bundesliga this season.

He has bagged five goals and four assists in 24 league games for Leverkusen.

However, Barcelona face huge competition from Arsenal, who are currently in pole position to secure the striker’s services

Leverkusen are expected to demand a fee above £50 million for Kofane. This could be a major stumbling block for Barcelona due to their financial situation.

They plan to let Robert Lewandowski leave if he doesn’t agree to a significant reduction in his salary

They are also considering another loan deal for Marcus Rashford instead of triggering his £26 million buy-out clause.

Manchester United have made it clear there will be no haggling over Rashford, which could scupper Barcelona’s plans.
