Manchester City travel to London Stadium to take on West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Citizens defeated the Hammers 3-0 in December’s reverse fixture.

West Ham boosted their survival hopes after beating Fulham 1-0 in their last Premier League outing. They currently sit 18th, with only goal difference separating them from Forest in 17th place.

City suffered a 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie courtesy of Federico Valverde’s first-half hat trick.

They had possession spells but struggled to convert chances as Madrid’s defence snuffed out their attacks.

Los Blancos head to the return leg at the Etihad Stadium with a 3-0 cushion, while City face a daunting challenge to progress.

Pep Guardiola’s side were held to a 2-2 stalemate by Nottingham Forest last time out in the Premier League.

City’s title push suffered a setback as Forest rallied twice to snatch a point and are now seven points behind leaders Arsenal, who have played a game more.

Man City are unbeaten in their last 20 Premier League games against West Ham (W17, D3) and will be keen to enhance that record.

Team news

In-form winger Crysencio Summerville suffered a calf injury in the Hammers’ FA Cup triumph over Brentford and is sidelined.

Lukasz Fabianski is also out, while Adama Traore and Oliver Scarles are doubts.

City’s Croatian duo, Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol, are unavailable due to injuries. Rico Lewis is doubtful.
