With fixtures coming in thick and fast, Premier League clubs are gearing up for midweek action.
One of the highlights of the previous round of Premier League action came at Old Trafford, where Manchester United continued their remarkable resurgence with a 2-1 win against Crystal Palace.
Interim manager Michael Carrick sent another strong message to the club hierarchy after stretching his unbeaten streak to seven games (W6, D1) since his appointment in mid-January.
The victory against Palace moved United up to third in the Premier League table, marking their highest placement since May 2023.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were the biggest winners on the other end of the table as they claimed a shocking 2-0 victory over top-four hopefuls Aston Villa at Molineux.
It may not do much in the grand scheme of the Premier League relegation battle, but it’s another massive morale boost for the club.
That result was even more satisfying for Wolves after watching fellow relegation strugglers Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, Nottingham Forest, West Ham United and Burnley all fall to defeat.
Matchday 29’s fixtures are poised to deliver another enthralling round of Premier League action.
Wolves will fancy their chances of claiming back-to-back scalps when they host Liverpool, while Villa and Chelsea go head-to-head in a top-four six-pointer.
Not every team came through the previous round unscathed, so read on as we provide all the latest injury updates for each club ahead of this week’s action.
