No team has been riddled with more injuries this season than Tottenham, who are currently missing Rodrigo Bentacur, Richarlison and Pedro Porro due to hamstring problems.

Long-term absentee James Maddison is not expected back in action anytime soon as he continues his recovery from a damaged anterior cruciate ligament, while Lucas Bergvall and Ben Davies are out.

Mohammed Kudus (thigh), Dejan Kulusevski (knee), Djed Spence (calf) and Kevin Danso (toe) are also unavailable for the hosts.

Cristian Romero is suspended for the next four league matches after his dismissal against Man United.

Emil Krafth, Lewis Miley and Valentino Livramento are all unavailable through injury, leaving Newcastle down to bare bones at right-back.

Anthony Gordon (hamstring), Joelinton (groin) and Fabian Schar (ankle) all missed the defeat to Brentford and are not expected back in time for Tuesday’s affair.
