The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations ended on Sunday, with Senegal beating hosts Morocco 1-0 to lift the title.

Edouard Mendy (Senegal): Kept a joint-high five clean sheets. He also registered the highest save percentage (88%) among goalkeepers who played at least three matches.
Krepin Diatta (Senegal): He ranks first for accurate passes, second for key passes and third for successful dribbles per game among right backs.
Calvin Bassey (Nigeria): Impressed with his brilliant one-on-one defending. He led the tournament for most touches and completed passes.
Yasser Ibrahim (Egypt): He ranked first for tackles per game and also topped interceptions per game among centre-backs to reach the semi-finals.
Noussair Mazraoui (Morocco): His versatility and all-around ability were pivotal to Morocco’s push to the final. He also featured in our group stage best XI.
Pape Gueye (Senegal): Was clutch for the Teranga Lions, recording the most goals, shots and shots on target during the knockout stage.
Idrissa Gueye (Senegal): The Everton man registered the most line-breaking passes (92) and most completed passes into the opposition half.
Ademola Lookman (Nigeria): The Atalanta star finished the tournament with the most goal involvements (seven) and big chances created (five).
Sadio Mane (Senegal): Was influential both on and off the pitch. He created the most chances (19) and won the most possession in the final third (seven), and was second in take-ons completed.
Brahim Diaz (Morocco): Despite his crucial penalty miss, the Real Madrid star had a brilliant tournament, finishing as the top scorer with five goals.
Victor Osimhen (Nigeria): Only outscored by Diaz, Osimhen chipped in with the joint-most goals (three) in the knockout stage. He also ranked joint-first for big chances created (five).
