Manchester United ready to listen to Roma’s offer for Joshua Zirkzee

Manchester United are willing to listen to Roma’s new offer for striker Joshua Zirkzee. 

The 24-year-old joined United from Bologna for £36.5 million in 2024. He has scored just seven goals in 55 appearances across all competitions.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have tabled a loan offer which includes an option to buy.

Zirkzee is willing to return to Serie A after enduring a difficult time in Manchester.  

The Dutchman has struggled for first-team opportunities under Ruben Amorim, making just five Premier League appearances this season.

Amorim started the Netherlands international against Everton on Monday. 


However, he failed to contribute a goal or an assist, as the Red Devils slumped to a 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford following Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s stunning goal.   

Zirkzee had just 35 touches and lost possession on 12 occasions. 

With Benjamin Sesko sidelined, Zirkzee had the chance to prove his ability, but he failed. 

Amorim may now opt to drop the 24-year-old to the bench when United visit Crystal Palace this weekend.
