Liverpool fell to a shambolic 3-0 loss to Nottingham Forest on Saturday at Anfield.
Igor Jesus, Nicola Savona and Morgan Gibbs-White scored for Forest, as they condemned the Reds to their sixth defeat in their past seven Premier League fixtures.
Liverpool have dropped to 11th in the Premier League, with the club now in the midst of a full-blown crisis.
If the poor results continue, manager Arne Slot could be sacked. Here are four potential replacements for the 47-year-old.
Andoni Iraola
Andoni Iraola was appointed by Bournemouth in 2023 and led them to an impressive 12th-place finish in his first season.
He has done a fantastic job at Bournemouth, and it is only a matter of time before he gets the chance to manage a big club.
His high-energy style of play would be an ideal fit for Liverpool.
Unai Emery
Unai Emery has done an impressive job at Aston Villa.
He is a top manager who has big-club experience and European pedigree. However, it is debatable whether he would leave Villa for Liverpool.
The Midlands outfit are a big club, and Emery can achieve his goals with them.
Jurgen Klopp
Jurgen Klopp delivered Liverpool’s first league title in thirty years and is absolutely adored by the fans.
The German left Anfield at the end of the 2023-24 season, saying he needed a break after nine years on Merseyside.
Klopp has since accepted a role as Head of Global Soccer for Red Bull GmbH, but he could return to Anfield if they needed him.
Oliver Glasner
Oliver Glasner led Crystal Palace to their first major trophy when they defeated Manchester City in the FA Cup final last season.
The Eagles are currently inside the top four after collecting 20 points from 12 matches.
Glasner has proved himself in the Premier League with Palace, and could be a hit at Liverpool.
