Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz admits Manchester United would be his ‘dream’ move

Crystal Palace star Daniel Munoz has admitted that it would be a ‘dream’ to move to Manchester United. 

The 29-year-old has been earning rave reviews with his performances in England since joining Palace from Genk in January 2024. 

The right-back has made 81 senior appearances for the Eagles, bagging eight goals and 14 assists. 

He also played a key role in helping Oliver Glasner’s side lift the FA Cup last season, which ended the club’s 31-year wait for a trophy. 

While Munoz remains under contract until 2028, it appears he is ready to move to a bigger club if the opportunity arises. 

Speaking to Spanish outlet AS, the South American star admitted that a move to United would be a dream for him. 

“First of all, I think there’s a lot of talk about one club or another,” he said. “If you ask me, it would be a dream to play for one of these clubs, whether it’s Barcelona, PSG, Real Madrid, or Manchester United.

“I think I’m working towards that. I strive every day to one day attract the attention of one of these clubs, because for me, it’s a dream to get there.”

Manchester United’s recruitment has improved significantly since Sir Jim Ratcliffe took control of the club’s football operations in early 2024. 

This is particularly true about the Red Devils’ signings this summer, as most of the new arrivals are playing well this season. 

Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have hit the ground running at Old Trafford, while Senne Lammens has quickly established himself as Ruben Amorim’s number one goalkeeper. 

Benjamin Sesko has not made an immediate impact, but he is expected to score goals once he adapts to the pace and physicality of English football. 

Munoz is a highly talented player who has proven his skills in the Premier League. 

But with over two-and-a-half years left on his contract, Palace would demand a sizeable fee for him.
