Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Vitor Pereira is reportedly not in immediate danger of being sacked, despite the club’s miserable run this season.
The Midlands outfit slumped to their seventh Premier League defeat against Burnley on Sunday.
Zian Flemming’s first-half double put the visitors in the driving seat, but Wolves levelled the scoreline through Jorgen Strand Larsen’s penalty and Marshall Munetsi’s header before the break.
The match was heading for a draw when substitute Lyle Foster popped up with an injury-time winner.
Wolves’ supporters made their feelings known at full-time, chanting ‘sacked in the morning’ towards manager Pereira.
But journalist Alex Crook claims he is not in immediate danger of losing his job.
#Wolves sources insist Vitor Pereira is not under immediate threat despite 0 wins in 9. Board clearly not happy with results and situation could change if they sense any dressing room unrest. There is also a realisation newly-promoted clubs are more competitive. With @JacobsBen

Pereira replaced Gary O’Neil as Wolves manager in December 2024. They were languishing in 19th place at the time of his appointment.
He inspired a brilliant comeback during the second half of the season to ensure their top-flight survival/
However, Wolves are still searching for their first league victory this season and are currently bottom of the standings with two points.
Their struggles can partially be attributed to the summer departures of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester United and Manchester City.
