England have announced their 21-man squad for the U17 World Cup, which will take place in Qatar next month.
Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea players account for more than half of the squad.
The Young Lions have been placed in Group E for the 48-team tournament. They play Venezuela in their opening fixture, before facing Haiti and Egypt.
England are aiming to win the competition for the second time. Their first triumph was in 2017, when Man City star Phil Foden won the Golden Ball award.
Several exciting youngsters are in the squad, including Landon Emenalo, Jun’ai Byfield, Seth Ridgeon and Bradley Burrowes. They were included in our 2025 list of the best U18 Premier League talents.
