Harry Kane becomes the fastest player to score 100 goals in the 21st century after a brace in Bayern vs Werder Bremen

Harry Kane netted a brace as Bayern Munich claimed a 4-0 win over Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga tonight.

After Jonathan Tah’s opener after 22 minutes, Kane continued his fine form by winning and converting a penalty on the stroke of half-time.

In the second half, the ball fell to the England international in the box, and he made no mistake for his 15th goal in just his eighth match of the season.

Kane has now bagged 100 goals in only 104 appearances for Bayern.

He is the fastest player to reach that milestone for the Bundesliga champions, a truly remarkable feat considering the calibre of strikers they have have had over the years.

He has done it faster than any player has ever done so for any club in Europe’s top five leagues in the 21st century, cementing himself as one of the greatest strikers of his generation.

While Kane’s scoring will likely dominate all the headlines, his ability to create for his teammates is also underrated. He has delivered 29 assists for Bayern.

He added 63 assists to his unbelievable tally of 280 goals in 435 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur.

Kane’s ability to drop deep and link up play is one of the best in the world. His defensive contribution also deserves praise.

Bayern will be hoping that Kane can spearhead the team to another Bundesliga title and a deeper run in the Champions League.

The 32-year-old could play a talismanic role as Bayern bid to add a seventh Champions League crown to their trophy cabinet.

Not many people will bet against the Germans, especially after their blistering start to the season.

For Kane, a Champions League win would be the perfect confidence booster heading into the 2026 World Cup with England.
