EA Sports has officially unveiled the top-rated Premier League players for EA FC 26, and Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah leads the pack.
The game is expected to be released on September 26 for consoles and PC, while people who pre-order the Ultimate Edition will enjoy a seven-day head start from September 19, as well as an early chance to spend their FC 26 coins.
Unsurprisingly, Liverpool and Manchester City dominate the upper tier of the rankings. Five Liverpool players made it into the top 10, while the Cityzens have three among the top five.
Salah is rated 91, making him the highest-rated Premier League player and the joint-highest-rated player in the game alongside Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe.
This is the first time Salah has claimed the top spot in the men’s rankings, cementing his place as one of the best forwards in world football.
Further down the list, Man City teammates Rodri and Erling Braut Haaland are both rated 90, alongside Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk.
Man City’s latest addition, Giorgio Donnarumma, is rated 89, tied with Liverpool duo Allison and Florian Wirtz, who joined the Reds in a British record deal.
Alexander Isak got a massive boost in EA FC 26, with the new Liverpool striker climbing from an 85 rating last year to 88 in the upcoming edition.
Arsenal are represented in the rankings by Brazilian centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes and England forward Bukayo Saka.
Both players round up the top 10 with 88 ratings, while Chelsea’s Cole Palmer breaks into the list just outside the top 10 with an 87 rating.
Palmer is level with Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes. Newcastle United duo Bruno Guimaraes (86) and Sandro Tonali (86) also made it into the list for clubs outside the so-called ‘Big Six’.

EA FC 26 release date
EA FC 26 is set to be released on September 26, 2025. Those who pre-order the Ultimate Edition get a seven-day head start from September 19. It also includes a 10-hour early access trial via EA Play.
The countdown is well and truly underway. EA FC 26 will be the third release under the new EA Sports FC banner, following the rebrand from the FIFA series.
