Galatasaray have made a formal offer for Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson Moraes, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Manager Okan Buruk has already overseen major signings this summer, including Victor Osimhen and Leroy Sane, as the club strengthens their attacking options.
Their next step is to improve the goalkeeping department, and Ederson is a leading target.
The 31-year-old Brazilian joined Manchester City from Benfica for €40 million in 2017.
He subsequently became Pep Guardiola’s first-choice goalkeeper, playing a vital role in the team’s success.
City expected to demand a higher fee for Ederson

Galatasaray’s opening bid is around €10 million, but City are expected to request a higher fee before allowing negotiations to move forward.
If Ederson completes a move to Turkey, City will move for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma as a replacement.
Ederson has built a decorated career in Manchester, winning six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and four League Cups.
He also helped deliver the club’s first Champions League title and went on to add a UEFA Super Cup and a FIFA Club World Cup.
The Brazilian has earned three Premier League Golden Glove awards, underlining his consistency and impact across several seasons.
His calm distribution and ability with the ball at his feet have made him one of Guardiola’s most reliable players.
Galatasaray remain determined to push ahead with the transfer as they continue to reinforce their squad.
However, convincing City to part ways with one of their most successful signings could prove challenging unless a much-improved offer is submitted.
