Bournemouth are in advanced talks to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Amine Adli this summer, according to journalist Santi Aouna.
A verbal agreement has already been reached with the Moroccan youngster, and the Cherries are working towards finalising the transfer fee with the German club.
The Premier League club are confident that the deal will materialise in the coming days. Adli is valued at around €25 million.
Leverkusen have lined up Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche as a potential replacement for Adli.
With Dango Ouattara attracting interest from Brentford, the Cherries’ manager Andoni Iraola is keen on strengthening the attack in this transfer window.
Outtarra made a significant impact for the Cherries last season, bagging nine goals and four assists in all competitions. His departure would leave a void in the squad.
Adli had a quiet last season, but that will not undermine his brilliant 2023/24 campaign for Leverkusen.
The 25-year-old racked up 10 goals and 12 assists, helping Die Werkself win the Bundesliga title and DFB-Pokal.
The Moroccan international can play across multiple attacking positions. His versatility and high work rate make him an excellent fit for the Cherries.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth have welcomed Eli Junior Kroupi after a stellar Ligue 2 campaign with Lorient.
The 19-year-old, who the Cherries signed in February, netted 22 goals for the French outfit last season.
After losing Dean Huijsen, Illia Zabarnyi and Milos Kirkez this summer, the Cherries are putting in their efforts to rebuild the squad.
They have added goalkeeper Djordge Petrovic and left-back Adrien Truffert to the ranks. Lille centre-back Bafode Diakite will be the next signing in a deal worth £34 million.
