Rangers will be looking to register their first win of the season when they host Dundee in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The Gers played out a 1-1 draw with Motherwell in their league opener, while Dundee lost 2-1 to Hibernian last time out.
Match Preview
Rangers suffered a disappointing 2024-25 campaign, finishing 17 points behind arch-rivals Celtic.
They appointed Russell Martin as their manager in June, but he has endured a difficult start to life at Ibrox.
While Martin hasn’t tasted defeat in his six games in charge, Rangers’ performances have been unconvincing.
They were poor in the recent 1-1 draw against Motherwell, which led Martin to criticise his players’ mentality publicly.
However, that approach seemed to work as the team ran out 3-0 winners against Viktoria Plzen in the third qualifying round for the Champions League.
Rangers will now take on Dundee, who have also struggled under new manager Steven Pressley.
The Dark Blues have lost three and won two of their last five competitive matches.
Team News
Rangers have a few injury woes this weekend, with Dujon Sterling, Hamza Igamane and Thelo Aasgaard all set to miss out due to fitness issues.
Martin benched captain James Tavernier for the midweek game, and he will likely feature from the bench again on Saturday.
Charlie Reilly and Simon Murray are ruled out for Dundee.
