Crystal Palace are on the verge of signing OGC Nice forward Evann Guessand, according to journalist Chris Wheatley.
The Eagles, who are preparing for a European campaign next season, are focused on enhancing their attack with quality additions this summer.
The 24-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2024–25 season in France, bagging 13 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.
The Ivorian forward’s performances have drawn attention from several Premier League clubs, including Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brighton & Hove Albion.
However, Palace are in a strong position to complete the move. They want to build on their recent FA Cup triumph by signing players who can offer more attacking flexibility.
Guessand will be a key summer addition for Palace
The Nice forward is renowned for his pace, direct dribbling, and sharp movement in the final third.
His style blends the physical presence of a centre-forward with the mobility and skill of a wide player.
Guessand is described as a hybrid attacker, capable of switching positions with ease depending on the tactical set-up.
He has a natural instinct for creating chances, often using through balls and quick passes to unlock tight defences.
Glasner views him as the kind of player who can help Palace adapt quickly to the challenges they will face in Europe.
If the deal is completed, Guessand will become one of the club’s key additions this summer as they look to compete on multiple fronts.
