Chelsea’s Club World Cup win could help the club secure £60m sponsorship deal 

Chelsea’s victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final could land the club a massive commercial boost.

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea could secure a lucrative new front-of-shirt sponsorship deal worth significantly more than previous offers.

Sources close to the negotiations have indicated that the emphatic 3-0 victory over PSG in the final has brought prestige and silverware.

The Blues are in negotiations with several major international companies, aiming to secure a long-term agreement worth approximately £60 million per season.

Chelsea previously resisted offers for £40m-per-year deals. They went most of the season without a jersey sponsor until the final few games, when Dubai-based property development firm DAMAC emerged.

Even then, it was only temporary with the club eyeing more lucrative deals when they secured Champions League qualification and on-pitch success.

That gamble now looks likely to pay off handsomely.

One insider remarked: “Chelsea would have left as much as £100m on the table by locking in a long-term front-of-shirt sponsorship last year.

“With Champions League football secured and the Club World Cup in the bag, they are now in a commanding position.”

It is unclear whether the new sponsor will be unveiled in time for the start of the Premier League season.

However, there is growing confidence that the deal will be completed in time for the new logo to appear on shirts during the campaign.

Meanwhile, Chelsea players will receive a financial reward for their exploits.

Following the win in the United States, members of the victorious squad are expected to pocket bonuses in the region of £350,000.

The success also relieves early pressure on head coach Enzo Maresca, who marked his debut season with two pieces of silverware and qualification for the Champions League.
