Manchester United are exploring the possibility of signing Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso, according to French outlet L’Equipe.
Following a dismal campaign that ended with a 15th-place league finish, United are seeking experienced additions to reshape the squad.
The club have already secured the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers and are currently in talks for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.
United are now considering Tolisso as another option to strengthen their midfield department.
The Frenchman offers experience, technical quality and the right blend of defensive and attacking output.
Tolisso open to move amid Lyon’s financial strain

The 2018 World Cup winner has just enjoyed one of the finest seasons of his career and still has two years left on his current deal at Lyon.
Although the 30-year-old does not have plans to force a move, his performances have caught the attention of several European clubs.
Lyon were recently reinstated to Ligue 1 after winning an appeal against a drop to the second tier, but the club remains in financial difficulty.
Selling Tolisso could be a logical step to ease the wage bill. He is currently the highest-paid player at the club.
The French international is open to the idea of joining Man United if an agreement can be reached. He has rejected offers from the Saudi Pro League and clubs in Turkey.
Tolisso is renowned for his versatility and intelligence on the ball. He can play in various roles across the midfield.
He is a box-to-box player with strong tackling skills, accurate passing and an eye for goal.
His ability to both create and finish chances could offer something different to Ruben Amorim’s team next season.
