Chelsea agree €65 million deal to sign Jamie Bynoe-Gittens

Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund, according to journalist Fabrice Hawkins.

The Blues had already settled personal terms with Bynoe-Gittens. They will pay €65 million and he will sign a seven-year deal.

Chelsea need a left-winger. They have been pushing to sign the 20-year-old from BVB, but failed to complete a deal in time for the Club World Cup.

Bynoe-Gittens caught the eye, especially in the first half of the season, bagging 12 goals and five assists in 49 appearances.

The England youth international struggled in the second half under new manager Niko Kovac.

The former Manchester City academy starlet is one of the best dribblers in the Bundesliga, and the Blues will hope that he can translate his performances in the Premier League.

Despite the squad crying out for a top-class winger, Chelsea have added another young player to the ranks.

The Blues are also considering a swap deal with Manchester United for Christopher Nkunku and Alejandro Garnacho.

The arrival of two new wingers may force Tyrique George to leave on loan for playing time.

He scored a goal in his last outing for Chelsea, taking his tally to three goals and five assists this season.

Chelsea are reportedly trying to sign Brighton & Hove Albion forward Joao Pedro. They face competition from Newcastle United.

Pedro’s versatility attracted Chelsea as he can plug several holes in the attacking areas. He can fill the gap if Nkunku leaves Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have also been linked with West Ham United man Mohammed Kudus.

Like Pedro, he is a potential replacement for Nkunku due to his versatility. Chelsea will reportedly sign one of the pair.
