PSG paid around €80 million for Randal Kolo Muani in 2023, but he failed to live up to expectations.
After falling out with manager Luis Enrique, Kolo Muani joined Juventus on loan earlier this year until the end of the season.
Despite making a bright start to his spell in Italy, the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward’s form has nosedived.
The Italian giants are not expected to make his transfer permanent, meaning he will return to Paris this summer.
Kolo Muani could be on the move again ahead of next season, and PSG have identified Guriassy as a top target to reinforce their attack.
Guirassy has been one of the bright spots in an otherwise underwhelming campaign for Dortmund.
He has netted an astonishing 33 goals and nine assists in all competitions this season, strengthening his status as one of Europe’s finest goalscorers.
Guirassy is also the joint top-scorer in the Champions League with 13 goals, which includes a memorable hat-trick against Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
His impressive performances have also caught the attention of European heavyweights.
The Guinean striker’s future at Signal Iduna Park depends on Dortmund’s Champions League qualification, as they are fifth in the Bundesliga table, trailing Freiburg by one point.
However, Die Borussen are hoping to keep hold of the 29-year-old as they value him as a key player for their project.
Guirassy, who is contracted until 2028, has also signalled his desire to continue his progress with Dortmund.
His contract has a €70 million release clause, but it is only exclusive to a few select Premier League and La Liga clubs.
This could make the negotiations tougher for Les Parisiens with Dortmund.
Having already paid €70m for Khvicha Khvarastkshelia in January, PSG are unlikely to break the bank again for Guirassy this summer.
