Manchester United have placed a £40 million price tag on attacker Marcus Rashford as they look to sell him this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The England international is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
He is currently on loan at Aston Villa, but they haven’t shown any interest in trying to sign him permanently, even though he is open to joining them.
Man United are eager to get Rashford off their books and reinvest his transfer fee in other areas of the squad.
Read on as we look at a few potential clubs where Rashford can revive his once-promising career.
Barcelona
Barcelona need a left winger, and Rashford wants to join them. They have shown interest in him and could make a move if their dilapidating finances allow it.
The Manchester-born forward could explode under Hansi Flick, who would maximise his off-the-ball runs and dribbling prowess.
The La Liga champions know a storm is coming. Arch-rivals Real Madrid are preparing for the mother of all battles next season.
Barcelona need all the reinforcements they can get in the transfer window, and Rashford would be an excellent weapon in the arsenal if they got him firing on all cylinders.
AS Monaco
Monaco could make him a marquee signing after securing Champions League football for next season.
Monaco manager Adi Hutter plays with two forwards, and Rashford will pair nicely with goal machine Mika Biereth up top.
A move to tax-lenient Monaco might tempt Rashford. The Ligue 1 giants should be able to afford his fee and offer him excellent wages. They also have Champions League football, which works in their favour.
Rashford can benefit from having a lethal strike partner to play off and thrive on the responsibility of playing for Monaco.
Borussia Dortmund
German giants Borussia Dortmund will likely part ways with Jamie Bynoe-Gittens this summer.
Rashford is the perfect replacement for the 20-year-old winger. The Man Utd man could benefit from a move to Germany.
His pace and directness suit the football Niko Kovac preaches, and a fresh environment could help reignite the spark that saw him rise to stardom at Old Trafford.
Surrounded by young, hungry talents and a fanbase that adores their players, Rashford would have the freedom and responsibility to lead.
