Since returning to the Champions League after four decades away, Villa have produced statement wins against Bayern Munich and Club Brugge.
They are also pushing for a top-four finish in the Premier League and remain in the FA Cup.
Emery is one of the most accomplished knockout managers in Europe. He has a strong record against top sides and is getting the best out of winter signings Marcus Rashford and PSG loanee Marco Asensio.
Villa have already eliminated one tournament favourite. They will believe they can do it again. Enrique is not underestimating the challenge.
“There are no favourites,” he said. “Villa are similar to us. They are organised, versatile and efficient. Emery is a great coach and knows how to get the best out of his players.”
PSG are chasing a historic season where they could win multiple trophies. The Champions League is the one they crave the most.
