Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has fired back at Real Madrid’s Arda Guler after Hungary’s heavy defeat to Turkey.
Szoboszlai’s side lost 3-0 in the Nations League play-offs yesterday, resulting in a 6-1 aggregate defeat and relegation to League B.
Guler, who scored the second goal for Turkey, mocked Szoboszlai with a shushing gesture during the match.
The Liverpool captain looked stunned by the act from the 20-year-old. Szoboszlai could only laugh as Hungary bowed out of League A.
Szoboszlai responded to Guler on Instagram after the game, highlighting his lack of game time with Madrid.

Guler may need to leave Madrid to fulfil his potential
Guler has made 30 appearances this season but has started just 10 times, scoring three goals.
The Turkish star joined Los Blancos on a six-year deal amid high expectations. However, his limited appearances have raised questions about his development.
The 20-year-old is a versatile talent who can play as a right winger or attacking midfielder. He was in high demand before moving to Madrid, with Barcelona also showing interest.
However, Madrid’s stacked squad has limited Guler’s chances. Carlo Ancelotti has been cautious about rotating his team as they chase major silverware.
Several clubs are monitoring his situation. If his lack of game time continues, they may consider making a move.
Guler’s goal against Hungary took his tally to 11 goal contributions this season. While his potential is evident, securing consistent minutes remains challenging at Madrid.
