West Ham United have finalised an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign Evan Ferguson on loan, according to The Guardian.
Details on the finances involved in the deal are yet to be determined, but the club is reportedly due to make an official statement later.
Ferguson has been strongly linked with a move to London since Graham Potter replaced Julen Lopetegui as West Ham manager.
The talented striker’s development has stalled at Brighton due to a combination of injury woes and fierce competition for places.
He has fallen down the pecking order in Fabian Hurzeler’s side, with Danny Welbeck, Joao Pedro and Georginio Rutter ahead of him.
Hurzeler recently claimed he wants to continue working with Ferguson but also admitted that there’s a chance he could leave the club this month.
