Enzo Maresca is now ready to offload £30m Chelsea player he signed last summer

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is ready to send Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall out on loan in the January transfer window

Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea from Leicester City for £30 million last summer. Maresca played a key role in the deal. He was in charge of Leicester last season, and Dewsbury-Hall flourished under him.

After Maresca left Leicester for Chelsea, Dewsbury-Hall followed him to Stamford Bridge.

However, according to the Mirror, Maresca is now ready to send Dewsbury-Hall out on loan in the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old midfielder has struggled for game time at Chelsea.

Leicester have already reportedly registered interest in bringing him back to the King Power Stadium on loan,

Dewsbury-Hall was always going to struggle at Chelsea

It was never ever going to be easy for Dewsbury-Hall to make an immediate impact at Chelsea.

The midfielder played in the Championship last season. The step up to the top flight has proved difficult for him.

There is also intense competition for places in the Chelsea midfield, and Dewsbury-Hall has not made a single start in the Premier League this season.

Leicester have a new manager in charge now. Under Ruud van Nistelrooy, the Foxes will be determined to escape relegation to the Championship.

Dewsbury-Hall knows Leicester inside out and has a good relationship with the fans.

He could get his career back on track with a loan move to the Foxes in the January transfer window.
