Dejan Kulusevski gives verdict on Rangers players and Ibrox fans immediately after Tottenham game

Dejan Kulusevski has given his honest opinion on Rangers and the fans at Ibrox after they held Tottenham Hotspur to a draw in the Europa League tonight.

Hamza Igamane put Rangers ahead in the 47th minute with a fine finish from James Tavernier’s cross.

Kulusevski, who replaced Timo Werner at half-time for Tottenham, restored parity for the visiting team on 75 minutes.

The Swedish international forward scored with a low left-footed drive.

Kulusevski comments on Rangers after Tottenham draw

Kulusevski praised Rangers fans and also gave credit to the home fans after the match.

He told TNT Sports: “I think Rangers played very well, we struggled a bit. We didn’t play well enough to win the game.

“I think Rangers played a perfect game – it’s a beautiful stadium, and the fans helped them a lot.”

Boost for the Scottish League Cup final against Celtic

Spurs were expected to win at Ibrox, so Rangers picking up a point is a great result.

Rangers could have won the match and should be proud of themselves.

The draw with Tottenham will boost the players’ confidence ahead of the League Cup final against Celtic this weekend.

Celtic have been the dominant force in Scottish football for several years now and will head into the final against Rangers as favourites.

However, Rangers will feel that having drawn with Tottenham, they can beat Celtic this weekend.
