Manchester United are ready to sell Marcus Rashford during the January transfer window or next summer, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The 27-year-old Red Devils star has a contract with the club until 2028, but they are open to a sale due to his huge wages.
Rashford currently earns £300,000 per week at Man United, with only Casemiro earning more, and they believe selling him will help make room for new players in subsequent transfer windows.
The Red Devils academy graduate takes home almost £16 million a year, and getting his wages off their bill will come in handy as they look to comply with the Profitability and Sustainability Rules.
The Man United star scored eight goals and weighed in with five assists in 43 matches last term and has tallied seven goals and three assists in 27 appearances this season.
It is a decent return but not for someone earning £300,000 per week, and the club could struggle to find buyers given his wages.
They failed to sell Casemiro last summer and will attempt to get him off their wage bill again at the end of the season.
Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are also expected to be moved on as Man United need a squad overhaul if they are to start challenging for major trophies.
New manager Ruben Amorim watched on helplessly as they lost back-to-back in the Premier League to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
It will not surprise many people if he sanctions the sale of Rashford and several other players.
