When asked about Timber, Arteta said (via football.london): “Really impressed. He is obviously coming from a long-term injury after his ACL.
“We knew the talent, the leadership, the skill that he has so he has been in great form, and he gives us something very different to any other full-back in the team. His impact has been tremendous.”
Timber can only get better
Timber is a centre-back by trade, but he has played full-back for Arsenal this season.
The way that the youngster has adapted at Arsenal shows how good and quick he is at taking in new information.
Timber is very good on the ball and does not shy away from a physical battle. He does his job efficiently and is able to defend and go forward.
The Arsenal defender is only 23. Timber can only get better, and he likely will under Arteta.
