Man Utd ‘working intensively’ to replace Christian Eriksen

Manchester United have embarked on a new chapter with Ruben Amorim, and a few changes in the squad are expected.

According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Christian Eriksen will leave the club at the end of the season.

Eriksen is in the final year of his current deal, and the club have no intention of offering a new contract.

The Red Devils are ‘working intensively’ to sign a new midfielder to bolster their ranks.

Eriksen looked undroppable under Erik ten Hag this season but lacks the dynamism required to thrive under Ruben Amorim.

Amorim prefers a 3-4-3 system and demands intensity from his players. The new manager wants relentless pressing and fitness from his players.

Eriksen still has the knack for unlocking defences with his creative vision.

His natural instinct to move the ball forward ensures that United remain positive and attacking.

However, the 32-year-old is reaching the end of his career. United have made a wise choice to move forward and explore the transfer market.

The Red Devils already have Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount to operate as a number ten, but they need reinforcements in deeper midfield roles.
