Clement could make three key changes – Predicted Rangers XI vs Nice

Rangers visit Nice in the Europa League on Thursday.

The Gers dropped further points in the Scottish Premiership last week, drawing 1-1 against Dundee United at Ibrox, and the pressure is mounting on Philippe Clement.

Rangers are struggling badly at the moment and need a big performance away from home in Europe to bring back some semblance of positivity.

Nice sit below Rangers in the league table, but given the kind of form Rangers are in, it is hard to predict how they will fare.

Ianis Hagi and Danilo were brilliant in their last game, but they are unavailable for the trip to France, and Clement will need to make changes.

Jack Butland is the first-choice goalkeeper at the club, and his position is not under any threat.

Clement may drop defender Dujon Sterling, given there are some important games coming up in December. James Tavernier, who has badly underperformed this season, could come into the side.

Robin Propper was also a surprise starter in the previous game, but Leon Balogun should be given another chance at centre-back alongside John Souttar.

Nico Raskin and Connor Barron are undroppable at the moment and should continue in the middle of the park. Mohamed Diomande has been awful recently and may be replaced by Nadim Bajrami.

Cyriel Dessers remains the best option up front for Rangers, and he will start. Vaclav Cerny and Ross McCausland should be on the flanks against Nice.

Predicted Rangers starting XI v Nice: Butland; Balogun, Souttar, Tavernier, Jefte; Barron, Raskins, Bajrami; Cerny, McCausland, Dessers.
