Man United poised for major injury boost on Yoro in Amorim’s first game

Manchester United have had to cope with early season injuries which has contributed to their disappointing start to the campaign.

The club are placed 13th in the Premier League after ten games. Their 12-point tally is the worst at this stage since the 1985/86 season.

The club have not fared better in the Europa League. They have drawn their opening three games and face a tough task of qualifying directly for the last-16.

United confirmed yesterday that midfielder Mason Mount has returned to training, but he won’t be rushed back into first-team action.

The club could be handed another massive boost after the international break based on Evening Standard‘s update on Leny Yoro.

The £46 million-rated wonderkid has yet to make his competitive debut for the Red Devils, having picked up a foot injury in the pre-season tour of the United States.

The 18-year-old was recently spotted back in training in an Instagram update, and he could return ‘just in time’ for Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge.

Amorim will formally take over as the United manager on November 11 and has nearly two weeks to prepare to face Ipswich Town on the road on November 24.
