Manchester United have received a major injury boost before Ruben Amorim arrives at the club.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Mason Mount has returned to training.
Mount’s last appearance came during the disappointing 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in September.
The 25-year-old has endured an injury-ravaged spell at United after joining them in a deal worth £60 million in 2023.
He has played just 25 games, contributing only one goal and one assist to the team.
After a positive pre-season, many fans expected him to be available and fit for his second term at United.
However, he has featured for just 215 minutes across five games this season.
This limited playing time has left supporters wanting more as they await the return of a player they believe can make a significant impact.
