Man Utd stars question Ten Hag’s decisions amid poor run of form

Senior Manchester United players have questioned manager Erik ten Hag’s rotation policy amid their recent poor run, according to talkSPORT.

The Red Devils are currently 14th in the Premier League table after nine games following a 2-1 loss to West Ham United on Sunday, and the Dutchman is under immense pressure.

Ten Hag dropped Marcus Rashford to the bench against Crystal Palace last month despite his return of three goals and an assist in the two matches before that game.

Amad Diallo and Manuel Ugarte are other players who have been in and out of the starting XI, and senior players cannot understand Ten Hag’s thinking.

Man United have won just one of their last eight games across all competitions. They will be desperate to secure a victory when they face Leicester City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

United then host Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday and can ill-afford to suffer another defeat against the resurgent London side.

Ten Hag must get his team selections right for those games or he risks losing his job if the results do not change before the next international break in November.

The Red Devils were unlucky yesterday after West Ham were awarded a questionable penalty in the closing stages of the game.

They are winless in the Europa League following three draws in the opening three games and could find it tough to advance to the knockout stage of the competition.

Ten Hag was tipped to be sacked last summer before the Man United board opted to keep him for another campaign.

However, he may not be as lucky this season, with fans and former United stars already calling for his head.
