Manchester United have Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies on their list of transfer targets for next summer, according to Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Red Devils have been without Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia this term, and manager Erik ten Hag could be forced to play Jonny Evans there against Brentford this weekend.
Diogo Dalot is expected to move to right-back after Noussair Mazraoui recently underwent a minor heart procedure.
Strengthening at left-back has become crucial to Man United, and Davies has emerged as a target.

The Red Devils have already gathered information on the 23-year-old, who could leave Bayern as a free agent at the end of the season.
However, Man United will face stiff competition as Real Madrid are also keen on signing him.
With five Bundesliga titles, one Champions League and seven other trophies under his belt, the one-time FIFA FIFPro World11 member has established himself as one of the best players on the planet.
Davies has bagged 11 goals and 32 assists in 203 games for Bayern. He has played regularly for the last six seasons and brings plenty of experience, reliability and durability to the table.
The Canadian international can also play as a winger, and his versatility would be a major boost for Man United.
Bayern are hoping to convince him to sign an extension, but he could become a free agent soon.
While that could be good news for the Red Devils, they will face plenty of competition as Davies will not be short of top suitors if he becomes available for free.
