Man United star back to his best with dazzling performance on international duty

Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen delivered an exceptional performance for Denmark during their 2-2 draw against Switzerland in the Nations League tonight.

The 32-year-old has been in good form this season. He was the standout performer at the AFG Arena as Denmark came from behind twice to share the spoils.

Eriksen provided the assist for Gustav Isaksen’s equaliser in the 27th minute. He went on to score a goal of his own in the 69th minute from a Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg assist.

The Dane won 100 percent of his duels (3/3) alongside 100% of his tackles (2/2) and dribbles (1/1) with four recoveries. He had a passing accuracy of 88%.

Eriksen had the perfect all-round game for his country and ended up with a SofaScore rating of 9.1.

The former Inter Milan star is no longer in the prime of his career, but he has had a fresh lease of life at club level with United manager Erik ten Hag prepared to back him.

The experienced ace has registered three goals and three assists in eight appearances for United this term. He has started in six of the previous seven games for the club.

Judging by his current form, Ten Hag will likely continue with him in the starting XI when the Red Devils host Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.

With Kobbie Mainoo nursing a minor knee concern, Manuel Ugarte could get the nod alongside Eriksen in central midfield, with Bruno Fernandes in the number 10 role.
