Confirmed Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Tottenham, Garnacho starts, Son injured

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has made three changes to the starting line-up for today’s Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Red Devils have had a poor start to the top-flight campaign, picking up just seven points from five games.

They are seven points adrift of the top four and need to return to winning ways.

Andre Onana is unsurprisingly in goal for the Red Devils. He has been in top form this season and made a stellar double save against Crystal Palace last weekend.

There is one change in defence from the midweek draw against FC Twente, with Harry Maguire absent from the squad. Matthijs de Ligt will partner Lisandro Martinez in the heart of the defence.

Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot continue in the full-back positions.

Manuel Ugarte makes his maiden Premier League start in the centre of the park. He will be accompanied by Kobbie Mainoo with Christian Eriksen dropping to the bench.

There is no place for Amad Diallo in the starting XI. Alejandro Garnacho starts on the right wing, with Marcus Rashford featuring on the left side of the attack.

Bruno Fernandes continues in his customary number 10 role, with Joshua Zirkzee leading the line ahead of Rasmus Hojlund, who is getting up to speed after his injury.

Meanwhile, there is big news from the Tottenham camp with Heung-min Son ruled out through injury.

He is by far Spurs’ best attacker and his absence is a huge boost for the Red Devils, who are eyeing a much-needed win.
