Three changes, Ugarte starts | Expected Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs FC Twente as Hojlund decision made

Manchester United will be aiming to return to winning ways when they host FC Twente in their first league game of the Europa League tonight.

The Red Devils played out a frustrating goalless draw against Crystal Palace in the Premier League last weekend.

They should have been two or three goals ahead in the opening half but were scuppered by their finishing and some fine saves from Dean Henderson.

The second half was quite even, but they should have put the game beyond sight with the chances created at Selhurst Park.

Manager Erik ten Hag is bound to make some changes this evening.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

Andre Onana was rested for the Carabao Cup third-round win over Barnsley, but he is expected to start against FC Twente.

The Cameroon international has been ever-present in the league and European games.

There could be a solitary defensive change from the goalless stalemate in London.

Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot should continue in the full-back positions.

Matthijs de Ligt could be handed a breather with Harry Maguire coming into the starting XI to partner Lisandro Martinez in central defence.

Manuel Ugarte is set to make his full home debut in midfield. Kobbie Mainoo should partner him with Christian Eriksen dropping to the bench.

Bruno Fernandes was far from his best last weekend, but he remains an undisputed starter for United in the number 10 role.

Marcus Rashford could be reinstated into the starting line-up on the left wing. Alejandro Garnacho could start on the right flank ahead of Amad Diallo.

Rasmus Hojlund returned from injury at the weekend, but Ten Hag could be cautious with him and he could feature off the bench. Joshua Zirkzee looks likely to lead the attack.

The Dutchman looked lively with his link-up play against Palace. He needs to score, considering the fierce competition from Hojlund.
