Arsenal pre-season friendlies: Final US schedule announced plus two more games at the Emirates Stadium

Arsenal will play five pre-season friendlies before they begin their 2024-25 Premier League campaign.

They recently announced they will play their first fixture against Bournemouth at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles on Thursday, July 25.

Their second match is against Manchester United at the SoFi Stadium on Sunday, July 28, followed by a clash with Liverpool at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on August 1.

Arsenal’s calendar upon their return home is also packed, with Bayer Leverkusen scheduled to meet them at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, August 7.

Mikel Arteta’s side then host Lyon in the Emirates Cup on Saturday, August 11.

Arteta will hope to use their pre-season games to build momentum and fine-tune their squad ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

The Spanish manager has changed the club’s fortunes but he once again failed to guide them to the Premier League title last season.

Despite playing excellent football throughout the campaign, they ultimately fell short by two points as Manchester City won an unprecedented fourth straight title.

Arsenal will aim to end City’s domestic dominance next term and claim their first league triumph since 2004.
