Man United forward set to depart as he agrees deal with Juventus

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has reportedly agreed a deal to sign for Juventus

The 22-year-old bagged eight goals and six assists in 30 La Liga matches during his loan spell with Getafe this season.

Getafe wanted to extend Grrenwood’s stay, but he is now closing in on a move to Juventus, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

However, the Italian giants need to reach an agreement with Man United who are reportedly demanding a hefty £42 million fee.

The Red Devils initially planned to reintegrate Greenwood into the squad after charges of rape and assault were dropped in February last year.

However, they were forced to reverse their decision following a huge backlash from supporters.

United’s summer transfer budget is tight, and they are looking to sell players to raise cash for new recruits.

Jadon Sancho, Casemiro, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof are among the players facing uncertain futures in Manchester.
