Sancho ready for Man Utd return but only if Ten Hag is sacked

Jadon Sancho is reportedly open to returning to Manchester United but only under one condition. 

According to the Mirror, the winger is prepared to go back to United but only under a different manager.

The 24-year-old fell out of favour with manager Erik ten Hag after posting a controversial social media post and he was allowed to rejoin Borussia Dortmund on loan in January. 

The England international scored just three goals in 21 appearances across all competitions for Dortmund.

He was also part of the team which lost 2-0 to Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday. 

The Bundesliga giants are keen to retain his services beyond the summer, but Sancho could also return to Old Trafford. 

Ten Hag ended the season on a high note by leading his team to FA Cup glory, but speculation has continued about his future in Manchester. 

He has won two trophies in two seasons since joining the club in 2022. 


However, United’s performances were mostly disappointing last campaign as they finished eighth in the Premier League. 

The Red Devils have held talks with other potential managers but they have also not discounted the possibility of keeping Ten Hag for one more season.
