Manchester United beat Newcastle United 3-2 in the final Old Trafford game of the season this evening.
The visitors started the first half strongly but the Red Devils worked their way into the game.
Kobbie Mainoo opened the deadlock at the half-hour mark after he got on the end of a pass from Amad Diallo.
The Magpies levelled the score just after the break, courtesy of a link-up between Jacob Murphy and Anthony Gordon.
Diallo restored United’s lead as he fired home on the half-volley after Newcastle failed to defend from a corner properly.
Rasmus Hojlund scored within a couple of minutes of his arrival from the bench to give the home side some breathing space.
Lewis Hall bagged a spectacular goal in injury time, but that proved to be a mere consolation for the visitors.
Let’s get into the player ratings.

The right-back gifted Alexander Isak a fantastic opportunity to lead moments after their equaliser.
