United set for bonus payment after Sancho reaches Champions League final

Manchester United will receive a financial windfall due to Jadon Sancho reaching the Champions League final with Borussia Dortmund. 

The 24-year-old returned to the Bundesliga outfit on loan in January in a bid to revive his career. 

The move has proved to be successful. Sancho shone in their midweek victory over Paris Saint-Germain, helping his side reach the Champions League final.  

Dortmund paid around £3 million plus a portion of Sancho’s wages to sign him in January. 

Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims United will receive more money after Dortmund booked their spot at Wembley Stadium.

Nobody expected Sancho to shine at Dortmund following his exile from United’s first team due to his controversial social media post. 

He has defied expectations by playing regularly and delivering consistent performances. 

The Bundesliga giants are keen to make his loan move permanent and could splash the cash on him this summer.


Sancho wants to stay in Germany as he has no intention of returning to Manchester United, regardless of who is in charge at the club.
