Liverpool forward Luis Diaz has been stellar this season but could leave the club this summer as the club prepares to ring in plenty of changes, per El Pais.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp announced that he will leave the club at the end of the season, and several players could follow him out of the door.
Diaz, whose contract runs until 2027, may be among those set to exit the Merseyside club.
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain will battle it out for his signature if he decides to leave.
The Catalans were reportedly the first to signify their interest in the rapid Colombian winger, with the club looking for attacking reinforcements.
Barca are scouring the market for a left-sided winger and have their sights set on Diaz, but their crippling financial situation could prove a stumbling block.
PSG have also considered Diaz to replace Real Madrid-bound Kylian Mbappe. The Parisians have a couple of names on their shortlist to replace their prized asset including Diaz.
Diaz has 11 goals and five assists in 38 appearances this term, bouncing back from an injury-riddled 2022/23 season to become a crucial component for Klopp again.
Diaz’s ability to beat defenders can unlock any defence, and his speed allows him to drag his team forward.
Those are excellent attributes that every team is always looking for, and the 27-year-old will be a wanted man if he decides to leave Anfield.
Another destination for Diaz could be Italy, where Serie A giants AC Milan are also interested in signing him.
The Rossoneri are considering him to replace Rafael Leao, who could leave if any club triggers his €175 million release clause.
Diaz will only join Milan if they sell Leao, as the seven-time Champions League winners do not have the money to pursue him without a massive financial boost.
