Liverpool could end Man City’s Premier League dominance with victories in three key games

Liverpool have won all four Premier League matches since their 3-1 defeat at Arsenal last month.

The Reds are in a fierce Premier League title race with the Gunners and Manchester City, and cannot afford to drop points.

Their latest top-flight success came against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground last Saturday.

The Tricky Trees were on the verge of sealing a goalless draw last weekend before Darwin Nunez scored a dramatic 99th-minute winner.

The victory ensured they remained at the summit with a point ahead of City.

Three key games are the key to Liverpool’s title bid

Liverpool’s remaining fixtures this season include some tough matches, including their home clash with Man City on Sunday.

The defending champions have been playing at their swashbuckling best in 2024, and defeating them will be a massive challenge.

The Reds also face Manchester United at Old Trafford in another tricky Premier League fixture in early April.

The two sides played out a goalless draw in their last meeting at Anfield but fans will be hoping for a more open game this time around.

Erik ten Hag’s side have been inconsistent this season, but they will likely pull out all the stops against their bitter rivals.

Following a relatively easier run of fixtures, Liverpool face top-four contenders Aston Villa in an away match in May.

Manager Unai Emery has turned Villa into top four contenders following his appointment in 2022.

Beating them at Villa Park will be challenging for Jurgen Klopp’s side even though they beat them 3-0 in the reverse fixture.
