England manager Gareth Southgate has announced the squad for their September games.
They play Ukraine in Poland on September 9 during the international break before facing rivals Scotland three days later.
Southgate has turned heads with his selection, picking an out-of-form Harry Maguire.
The Three Lions boss claimed they had lost a lot of experience and needed the Manchester United defender to provide it.
Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has received his first call-up after an impressive start to the campaign and his showings for England’s Under-21 side.
Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has also been selected. He joined the squad in June to replace injured players but now has his first official call-up.
Kalvin Phillips, who is firmly rooted to the Manchester City bench, is in the squad.
Southgate claimed that Phillips is one of their best options if they want to play one holding midfielder.
Jordan Henderson also got the nod from Southgate despite his move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq earlier this summer.
However, there was no space for Chelsea attacker Raheem Sterling despite his improved form this season.
Crystal Palace trio Sam Johnstone, Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi make the cut, along with Brighton & Hove Albion captain Lewis Dunk.
